They waste no time today as there is lots to do. One side of the middle roof goes up.
And then the other.
The roof of the two main sections are raised half way and supports are put in place.
All 4 sections of roof, half way up.
Lifting supplies and walls inside. Several progress shots.
At the end of the day, we looked like this.
Crane went home. There we are nestled into the trees.
Cool! It must be really fun to watch the whole process. :D The progress was fast and substantial. The crew apparently did not waste any time at all. They worked really hard, I can tell. I hope I could see the how the roofing turned out. I really wish to see the roofs successfully installed in your home. Looking forward to your update ;)

Raising the roof is never an easy thing to do. You need a considerable budget, together with good quality servicemen who will manage the construction process. I agree with Mr. Sierra that it can be fun and amazing at the same time. Well, those big machines are one reason. Hehe! :) - [Sharron Folkes]
ReplyDeleteI may be a little late, but still, congratulations on your new roof! Also, would you mind if I shared some tips with you? :) One way to keep your roof in good condition is to have it maintained regularly (at least once a month) by a roof inspector. In addition, doing small maintenance like cleaning leaves and debris from your roof every now and then would help to prevent the roofing materials from deteriorating.

Any updates? Sure think the roof looks good. Since you are surrounded by a lot of trees, keep an eye on your gutter. Be sure to clean them, so the leaves won’t get stuck and clog the pipes. It would save you a lot along the road. :)

I second Tristan. Are there any updates? It would be interesting to see how everything turned out! Keep an eye out for any vermin that lurks about and could easily cozy up on your roof. A lot of raccoons and squirrels like to nestle on soft and weakened areas of the roof, which will lead to more roof damage.
